About the Firm Boutique Chartered Accounting firm based in Martin Place Collaborative team of approximately 10 staff in the Sydney office Strong culture with genuine long-term career progression Structured yet friendly and supportive environment Growing business where staff are recognised and grow alongside the firm The Opportunity This role will act as a key link between the Partner and the junior accounting team, making it ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring staff while remaining hands-on technically. You’ll work with a quality SME and high-net-worth client base, including: SME clients ranging from $2M–$20M turnover Exposure to foreign entities and more complex structures A mix of high-level advisory exposure alongside core compliance work Responsibilities will include: Managing client relationships end-to-end Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns Reviewing and mentoring junior accountants Handling compliance work across various entity structures Supporting the Partner with workflow management and client delivery Assisting with workflow improvements and team development About You Approximately 4–5 years’ experience within public practice accounting CA/CPA qualified or in progress Strong compliance background with the ability to hit the ground running Previous experience reviewing junior staff work Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills What’s on Offer Competitive salary package based on experience 1 day WFH Bonus and commission scheme with achievable targets Monthly internal training quarterly external training CA/CPA support provided Direct mentorship from an experienced Partner Opportunity to step into a genuinely valued senior position within a growing firm This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant who wants more ownership, closer client relationships, and the chance to join a firm where culture and long-term growth are genuinely prioritised.
